The School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) was established in 2005 to offer a postgraduate program in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Considering nation’s position as one of the most emerging Oil and Gas markets in the Asia-Pacific region subsequent techno managerial innovation in the Oil & Gas sector, postgraduate programs in Oil & Gas were introduced in 2006. Currently, the school is having academic articulation with the India's first Energy University, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun (www.upes.ac.in).

The programs offered by this School are interdisciplinary and unique in nature which covers a broad range of subjects drawn from various disciplines: Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Computational methods, Fluid Mechanics, High Performance Computing, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Oil & Gas Engineering, Process Engineering and ERP.

The School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) intends to be one of the premier Schools of the nation subsequently of the world’s in advanced education and research in the area of Oil & Gas Engineering , Computational Fluid Dynamics.
